A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS.
Curious about
Loud Owl?
Who is Loud Owl for?
Curious kids and grown-ups alike. The collections range from Brain Busters Junior for grades 1–2 to history, science, and nature sets for older players. Choose a topic and difficulty that suit your group.
Can I play without an internet connection?
Yes. In the iPhone app, downloaded question sets stay on your device. Download the narration too before heading offline. Adding new sets and opening reference links need an internet connection. This website’s audio sample also needs a connection.
How does playing together work?
Choose multiplayer in the app, add player or team names, and pick your difficulty. After revealing an answer, choose the player or team who got it right to award one point, or choose All Incorrect. Check all scores during the round and replay missed questions at the end.
Is there more to explore after an answer?
Many questions have a fun fact and a Deep Dive with more of the story and links to its sources. Read as much as you like, then return to the answer without changing your score. Try the Moon question above for a taste.
Can I bring my own questions?
Yes. The app can import your own question sets from a file or a link in Settings. Make a round about a favorite topic, a classroom theme, or something your whole family knows.
